Sylvaina Gerlich is a member of Hamburg's Integration Council. She's also of a member of AYACSA e.V's Supervisory Board, and has a history of involvement in several selfhelp philanthropic development projects in Africa, the earliest dating at least a decade ago. She particularly has a heart for work involving deprived children and youth. Her social effort is by no means limited to young people alone, although these constitute the majority in the range of projects with which she is currently identified. In Hamburg, she undertakes social work in the area of social counselling, especally as a custodian (person-in-support) of socially displaced persons, mostly adults. She has been involved with AYACSA e.V. since the association's formation and she has played a crucial role in the association's life. She is responsible for contacts with businesses and government departments in Germany and other European countries seeking to help AYACSA. It is through her initiative and active involvement that a new branch of AYACSA has been formed in The USA.
AMELLEY
KOUMI
born in Togo, in Hamburg since 1996. She sings in a gospel choir. At
AYACSA she receives incoming calls and has a grip on all other
AYACSA programs and plans (scheduling and planing meetings, courses,
etc). She is there to help meet dates, requests and suggestions -
Amelly is the face of AYACSA!
SCARLET-ARABELLA
BEAUTY DRAWERT (21) - joined
AYACSA as an intern. She helped schoolchildren with
problems, and looked forward to enrol in a course of study in international
business. She sings on Sundays in the Christian Discovery Ministry
church. She has already MCed a Gospelshow (2007), played a leading
role in an African film, title: “Never again”, in Ghana easily.
Here in Hamburg she played the role of Chara in the musical
"Verliebt
in Babylon" (In Love with Babylon).
OHENENANA
BONSU KYERETWIE -
Executive Director, founder of AYACSA, has made it his aim to
help immigrants integrate more easily and effectively into German
society. A mining geophycisist by education, he gained several
years' working experience in different countries. Later, he completed
his MBA at Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL). Quickly
recognizing the problems of immigrants in Hamburg, he
formed the association, in order to help, and save that which is to be
still saved.
NANA KURANKYE KWATEI
- Co-founder of AYACSA - he came to receive computer instruction, but later followed he the idea of establishing the
association. He is the vice president and also in charge of all consulting
discussions and leads the team of AYACSA registered association: Nana is a graduate social worker and journalist.
ADAM
joined
to augment the IT section. A known face in Hamburg's Open Source
Community, he was influential in PR work on the IT scen in this city.
JÜRGEN
joine
dintitially as an Assistant Technician in chareg of PC
trouble-shooting. This did not prevent him from offering all-round help
to members and visitors who stood in need of various forms of
assistance. A pationate D-I-Y fan, he helped with various
